QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Is there a need for a fire pit barrier?

The radiant heat from the pit is primarily directed upward, therefore a barrier between the pit's base and the surface it will be placed on is strongly recommended. This will also help keep stray embers and scorch marks at bay. It's possible to use concrete pavers, flagstone, or a fire pit mat under your pit. Using this method is the safest method for minimizing any heat or markings from the bottom.

  • How much maintenance will your fire pit need?

A regular cleaning of the fire pit is required due to the fact that damp ashes can cause corrosion to the fire pit. It also contributes to the preservation of the drain's openness. The most effective method of removing the ash is to use a rounded scoop shovel.

  • Is this firepit safe to use to cook marshmallows?

You should always keep an eye on anyone who is using the firepit to roast their marshmallows on a stick. You should be aware that marshmallows can catch fire and cause burns if they get too hot.
